Love Island 2021: Hugo, Amy, Clarisse and Sam are all DUMPED from villa

There was a mass exodus on Thursday’s episode of Love Island as Hugo, Amy, Clarisse and Sam were all dumped from the villa.

Mary and Tyler were the two contestants saved by their fellow islanders after they voted on who they wanted to save.

The boys voted to save their favourite girl while the girls voted to save their favourite boy from the bottom three couples.

Explaining the boys decision to save Mary, Teddy said: ‘The boys would like to save this girl because she’s a bubbly character around the villa.

‘It was a hard decision because you’re all amazing but ultimately we see her continuing that happiness with everyone. The girl the boys have decided to save is Mary.’

Faye then explained why the girls chose to save Tyler, saying they believe he is on the ‘path to happiness’.

She said: ‘The girls would like to save this boy because although his journey may not have been as straight forward as others, we do believe he is on the path to happiness.

‘We can honestly say the villa wouldn’t be the same without him and we do believe there’s someone in the girls as well who deserves that happiness. The boy the girls have decided to save is Tyler.’

During Wednesday’s episode, the islanders received a text telling them to gather around the fire pit where they were told which couples were safe after the public voted for who their favourite pairs were.

The three couples who received the fewest votes were then told their fellow islanders would decide who stayed and who would leave in a dramatic cliffhanger.

After it was announced who would be leaving, Clarisse slammed Tyler, labelling him ‘fake’ after he recently told her about his true feelings for Kaz despite having brought her back from Casa Amor.

She said: ‘It’s not even me, it’s Tyler honestly. He’s just fake, do you know what I mean?’

As she was leaving the villa, she added: ‘My main regret is believing the way Tyler was with me. I wish I slept on my own in Casa Amor every day. At the same time, I’m not going to be single forever.’

In her exit interview, Clarisse also said she has no interest in speaking to Tyler again and didn’t wish him goodbye.

She said: ‘I can’t imagine seeing him, no. I didn’t say bye to him. There’s nothing he can say to me really.

‘In the real world and without even trying to sound petty or anything, I know that he would have been with me.

‘I can see how comfortable he was with me, it was just natural. I feel like he is a bit fake. I am a bit disappointed in him really.’

‘My journey has been what it is, and I’ve made some memories that are going to last a lifetime. I literally would not change a thing.’

Hugo and Amy coupled up after Casa Amor but had been on the rocks for the past few days, with the PE teacher calling his search for love ‘tragic’ on his way out of the villa.

He said: ‘My search for love in there … tragic, is probably the word for it. But I walk away with my head held high. I stayed true to myself, and I look forward to the next chapter and what life has in store for Mr. Hammond.’

Amy explained: ‘I’m a bit sad that my journey has been cut short, but short and sweet – that’s how I like it.’
