Love Island 2021: Viewers are left unimpressed as show ends on cliffhanger

Love Island fans were left less than impressed during Tuesday night’s episode as the show ended without revealing who Chloe Burrows coupled up with.

The bombshell’s arrival was teased on Monday’s episode with Chloe given 24 hours to choose which boy she wanted to be in a couple with, leaving one girl single.

At the end of the episode, Chloe gave a speech as to why she had chosen the boy, saying she thought he was ‘absoutely gorgeous’.

But fans quickly took to social media in droves to vent their frustration when the credits rolled just before she gave the name.

One viewer wrote: ‘Are you joking I gotta wait untuil tomorrow???’ while another said: ”One thing I haven’t missed is these cliff hangers’.

A third fan simply wrote: ‘Are you f*****g kidding me?!’ and another unimpressed viewer added: ‘Even the cliffhanger isn’t cliffhanging’.  

During her speech, Chloe explained her reasons for why she had chosen the boy in question, saying: ‘When I first saw him, I thought he was absolutely gorgeous.

And things got even raunchier on day two, as the Islanders took part in a raunchy Horny Devils challenge where they spilled their sexy secrets and smooched one another. 

Two Islanders look to be getting particularly close, with bombshell Chloe Burrows seeming to strike up a connection with Brad McClelland – despite the fact he’s coupled up with Faye Winter. 

Chloe entered the villa at the end of the first day and was given 24 hours to couple up with a man on her choice, forcing her to infiltrate another couple.

During Monday’s episode, the boys received a voice note from Chloe inviting them on a date with her, which they all quickly accepted. 

Speaking on behalf of the boys in scenes from Tuesday’s episode, Toby Aromolaran gathered the boys at the fire pit to announce: ‘Chloe’s a new girl. 

‘She’s all alone outside. So, we’re going to decide to welcome her in by all of us going and not just choosing one person to go.’

As Chloe reeled off her type on paper, stating: ‘I like a gym goer. I do like tattoos. I like good teeth but I like funny. I like a real dry sense of humour’, Brad was keen to know who Chloe is attracted to asking: ‘Out of the five lads here, has anyone caught your eye?’

The following day, Chloe pulled Brad for a chat, asking: ‘I feel like you’re quite quiet. Are you nervous?’ to which he replied: ‘I’m not nervous. I’m just chilled.’

Sussing out his situation with partner Faye, Chloe probed: ‘So, you’re not putting all your eggs in one basket?’ to which he responds, ‘For me, it’s more of who I can be comfortable around. 

‘I would say I’ve got good conversation but I haven’t got what I would class as chat like a salesman.’

Elsewhere in the episode, several Islanders lock lips as they take part in the Horny Devils challenge.  

In the first challenge of the series, it was boys vs girls as the Islanders prepare to spill their sauciest secrets. 

One by one they approached the flaming box and picked a devil’s fork and read the statement on the back. 

Within their team they had to decide which Islander they thought it was about and then kiss them.

The Islander then had to submerge themselves in an ice bath for 10 seconds to win points for their team.

It wasn’t long before the Islanders were locking lips as Kaz Kamwi and Toby shared their first kiss. 

Speaking in the Beach Hut, Kaz said: ‘Toby kissed me. It was a good kiss. I was happy.’

Not everyone is successful with their challenge, however, as when the boys believed a saucy secret was about Shannon, she turned her head so as not to kiss Toby.
