MAFS’ Bronson Norrish reveals he ‘feels sorry’ for Sam Ball for his edit on the show

Married At First Sight star Bronson Norrish reveals he ‘feels sorry’ for former love rival Sam Ball for his edit on the show as it airs in the UK – despite THAT ‘affair’ storyline

Former Married At First Sight star Bronson Norrish has publicly voiced his support for former love rival Sam Ball.

The former stripper, 35, told Express.co.uk this week – as the show airs in Britain – that he ‘feels sorry’ for Sam, 28, over the way he’s been edited on the show.

British viewers have been made to believe that Sam and Bronson’s now ‘ex-wife’ Ines Basic had an affair on the show, but since it aired in Australia, Sam has long insisted that he didn’t sleep with any of his co-stars.

Speaking out: Married At First Sight star Bronson Norrish said this week that he ‘feels sorry’ for former love rival Sam Ball for his edit on the show as it airs in the UK – despite THAT ‘affair’ storyline

‘I kind of feel sorry for Sam, as he is the villain in the show,’ Bronson told the publication.

Bronson added that Sam tried to do the right thing by warning him about his romance with Ines.

‘Out of everyone in the show he did try and warn me about the affair,’ Bronson said.

‘He pulled me aside before the affair started and let me know that Ines had contacted him, and that the producers were pushing forward and wanting them to have the affair.’

Bronson added that he couldn’t speak to Ines about it afterwards, due to the producers.

Sam made headlines back in 2019 in Australia, for his on-screen ‘affair’ with Ines, despite having ‘married’ Elizabeth Sobinoff.

But he has long insisted that he never slept with anyone on the show.

Earlier this month, Sam called into UK’s Talk Radio, and said that his ‘womanizing’ storyline on the show was set up by producers.

Sam was on MAFS and shown to have betrayed his wife Lizzie with Ines, but said: ‘I was taken into a dark room by producers and told [the cheating storyline] was going to happen…’

‘I threw [Ines] onto a bed and that was it… I actually went out for a night with the boys after that.’

Sam explained that he has been unable to speak out and defend himself because he was under contract.

‘It’s so binding, there’s not much you can do at all. Your hands are tied. I couldn’t talk out or do anything. I have literally been gagged for the last two years,’ he said.

He also revealed that Ines had blocked him – despite Ines telling MailOnline that he dumped her.

Ines claimed they forged a plan to leave the TV experiment and start a new life together, but he ghosted her and they never spoke again.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment, in relation to this story.
