Married At First Sight star Cheryl Maitland has flaunted the results of her new veneers.
The 29-year-old proudly showed off her new pearly whites on Instagram, after getting ‘no prep’ veneers fitted – meaning her natural teeth remain underneath, should she ever want to remove them.
Besides a before and after picture of her new gnashers, Cheryl wrote: ‘New Year calls for new teeth’ – alongside a link to the Gold Coast venue where she got her new smile, which costs $4990.

However, shortly after posting the photos, Cheryl was met with an abundance of comments from critics questioning her decision – with many saying they ‘couldn’t even notice’ the difference between the two.
Speaking on her stories, the reality star bit back: ‘I can tell the difference so that’s all that matters.
‘It’s something I wanted done, and I’m so happy with the results.’

Explaining why she decided to get the veneers, she added: ‘I’m still adjusting on how to smile and speak, because my side teeth were so much smaller than my front teeth.
‘Now it’s all even, my mouth is still adjusting.
‘They were ‘no prep’ veneers – I haven’t even filed down or touched my natural teeth, which I love. But I probably will never go back to my natural teeth because I love these.

‘I’m crazy indecisive, so if I didn’t like them I can always remove them and have my natural teeth, but I’m super happy with my results.’
On MAFS, Cheryl ‘married’ her on-screen husband Jonathan Troughton, but the pair didn’t make it past the first commitment ceremony.
The Queensland beauty later met Melbourne plumber Dean Gibbs in March 2017 and the couple have been happily dating ever since.
