Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis unveils her incredible weight loss after completing boyfriend Michael Brunelli’s 30-day challenge
The Bondi reality star, 33, shared a gallery of photos to Instagram on Wednesday of herself triumphantly posing in a pair of skinny jeans that used to be too small for her.
‘I bought these jeans at the beginning of lockdown, just the usual “add to cart” purchase, got my normal size and didn’t think much of it. When they arrived… they didn’t fit,’ Martha explained in the caption.

‘Not like they were tight and I couldn’t do the buttons up… they didn’t fit. Like they wouldn’t even go on. I couldn’t get them over my a**.’
After jumping on the scales, Martha realised she was the heaviest she’d ever been.
‘When did this happen to me? Then the negative thoughts came… “You deserve to be punished,” “You should starve,”‘ the influencer added.
Wow! Martha couldn’t believe her jeans fit, after she previously couldn’t get them ‘over my a**’
Hard work pays off! Martha explained she’d purchased the jeans at the start of lockdown, only to discover they didn’t fit. After following her boyfriend’s 30-day fitness program, she was able to shed the unwanted kilos and slide into her new pants
Martha’s personal trainer boyfriend Michael Brunelli then encouraged her to try his 30-day Tru Fit weight loss challenge.
As part of the challenge, Martha went to bed early, woke up at sunrise, completed 30 minutes of exercise per day, and walked 10,000 steps daily.
‘It was f**king hard. To challenge myself even more I’ve now added Pilates to the mix to work on my core and posture, or lack thereof!’ she added.
‘When did this happen to me?’ Martha admitted she was ‘the heaviest I’d ever been’ prior to embarking on her lockdown weight-loss journey
Martha concluded by encouraging others to take control of their health, even if they feel helpless.
‘Shift your mindset. Instead of looking to punish yourself, look to nourish and better yourself. Instead of looking to punish yourself, look to nourish and better yourself,’ she said.
‘Instead of thinking of it as just a salad, think of it as a favour to your body… you know the same body you abuse with Pinot noir and three-plus coffees a day and so much sodium that your organs are the size of sultanas.’

Martha previously discussed her weight gain in an Instagram post in July, revealing she’d gained seven kilograms since appearing on Married At First Sight in 2019.
‘I think part of it is getting older and metabolism changes,’ she explained.
‘But for the most part my job requires me to be stationary! I spend most of my waking hours staring into a screen.’
She added: ‘If I’m not making content, I’m editing it. Also the hours I work are actually gross and I have no balance… but I’m working on it.’
