Married At First Sight star Elizabeth Sobinoff has long been open about her battle with chronic health issues that cause hair loss and rashes on her scalp.

And the 30-year-old influencer highlighted her skin problems in a confronting video shared to Instagram on Friday. 

The clip showed the nape of Elizabeth’s neck which had been affected by psoriasis.

Elizabeth’s honest post was praised by her Instagram followers, with many saying they also suffer from skin conditions.

‘You are beautiful… flaws are normal… we all have them… power to you,’ one wrote.

Lizzie has long been open about her health battles and hair loss.

In 2019, she shared a picture of her scalp and said: ‘This is an unfiltered image of myself. I am someone who struggles on a daily [basis] with chronic health issues.’

‘I have lost a lot of hair at the back of my neck due to an autoimmune condition and have a rash that is psoriatic in nature that flares up in any light, artificial or natural,’ she continued.

Elizabeth said the reason people may not have noticed her bald patches is because she wears ‘hair extensions’.

And she confessed hair loss is just one of the ‘horrendous’ symptoms she has to live with.

‘As a female, hair is important,’ she told the publication.

She added: ‘It’s hard when you wake up with clumps in your bed.’
