MAFS star Beck Zemek turns on Nine and makes bold claims about producers trying to ‘gag her’

MAFS stars turn on Channel Nine: Beck Zemek reveals producers have taken her Instagram account off her and are trying to gag her… before revealing her famous feud with Bryce Ruthven wasn’t real

Married At First Sight bride Beck Zemek has unleashed a fiery tirade against Channel Nine following Sunday’s finale.

The TV bride has lashed out at producer of the hit reality show, accusing them of feeding her lines and manipulating a fake feud between her and Bryce Ruthven.

Speaking to KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O on Tuesday, the 27-year-old claimed she had been given a ‘gag order’ by Nine, but refused to be silenced about her treatment while filming the popular social experiment and subsequent trolling.

‘[I’ve got] a gag order hoping that I won’t speak out, but here I am speaking out because I’m not someone who is going to (back down/be silenced),’ she said.

‘The producer would ask me to poke and probe Bryce and told me “the dinner party is not going home until you do it”,’ she said.

Radio host Kyle Sandilands asked ‘so you didn’t REALLY hate Bryce as much as it looked like?’ and Beck responded: ‘No, absolutely not!’

'I swear producers set this up!' Beck claimed she didn't dislike Bryce as much as it appeared on the show and that the 'secret girlfriend rumour' was not created by her

‘I didn’t want to talk to Bryce and probe him about anything and even at the start I didn’t know about the secret girlfriend rumour. I swear producers set this up!’

Bryce later joined the live chat and told Beck: ‘Listening to you finally admitting those rumours came from producers it’s what I said for two months filming the show. Finally someone else backs that up and tells the truth.’

‘Beck said it, but they [producers] tell you what to do… You’ve got us two who were butting heads the entire show agreeing with each other now,’ he added.

Beck went on to claim she was not receiving a lot of care and support by Nine since the show finished, despite other 2021 contestants claiming the mental health support provided by the network was extensive.

‘They still have my Instagram, they still haven’t given that back to me,’ she added of her ‘gag order’.

‘At the end of the day, I do have quite thick skin and am quite lucky that I can cop the hate,’ Beck said, adding: ‘The best thing I can do with the trolls at the moment is create a platform to talk up about it, and how it’s not okay.’

Bryce added: ‘I can only speak personally for Melissa and myself, but we’re dealing with a hell of a lot of counselling away from the show. We want to distance ourselves from the show as much as possible, and it’s going to take a long time to get over.’

A spokesperson for Channel Nine told Daily Mail Australian on Tuesday: ‘Nine and Endemol Shine take their obligations in respect to the health and wellbeing of the participants of this program extremely seriously.

‘All participants have access to the show psychologist during filming, broadcast and once the program has ended. Nine also provides an additional service for participants should they like or need further individual and confidential psychological support.

‘This service gives participants access to psychologists who have been specifically engaged to support those involved in the program in relation to their experiences. This confidential service is available to all participants for as long as they need it, it does not end”.
