Married At First Sight star Bryce Ruthven joins Cameo to sell personalised videos to fans

Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven joins Cameo to flog personalised videos to fans – and you’ll never guess how much he’s charging

He’s just bagged a podcast deal with his girlfriend Melissa Rawson, after soaring to fame on Married At First Sight.

And on Wednesday, Bryce Ruthven revealed another way he’s plotting to grab a few pennies after the show – by joining personalised video site, Cameo.

Bryce confirmed the news on Instagram, before unveiling he would be charging $30 a pop to make the clips,  which are traditionally purchased by fans to wish their pals a happy birthday, a get well soon or to say congratulations.

Making the most of his fame! On Wednesday, Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven revealed another way he’s plotting to grab a few pennies after the show – by joining personalised video site, Cameo

Bryce joins a bevy of reality stars who sell their videos for cash, including Survivor’s Pia Miranda at $40, The Bachelor’s Nick Cummins at $89, and Love Island’s Cassie Lansdell at $50.

More high profile stars can charge much more, such as Caitlyn Jenner who asks for a whopping $2500 per clip.

The new gig comes just hours after Bryce – who quit his role as an announcer on Hit104.7 Canberra’s show in February – officially returned to the media industry, after signing a contract with podcasting company Podshape.

His first assignment for the brand is a podcast with his ‘wife’ Melissa all about their life post-MAFS, aptly titled What Happens After.

A two-minute trailer for the Podshape exclusive was released last week.

In the promo, the couple talk about their time on Nine’s hit reality series, as well as what’s happened to them since the cameras stopped rolling.

‘The bad things have definitely been the trolls, and the lack of understanding around our relationship,’ says Melissa.

Bryce even alludes to marriage for the pair, and children.

‘I think it’s about time we make it legal at some point in the near future,’ he says, adding: ‘I would like to have kids. I’m not getting any younger.’

‘That will be an interesting topic to discuss!’ adds Melissa.

What Happens After launches on Tuesday, May 4, and will run for 10 episodes.
