Married At First Sight’s Harrison Boon comes under fire for ‘bullying’

Married At First Sight groom Harrison Boon has a knack for meddling in the other couple’s relationships. 

And it all came to a head on Sunday’s episode of the show, when the 32-year-old builder came under heavy fire from fed up brides. 

Evelyn Ellis first asked to address Harrison, and the atmosphere in the room soon became explosive.  

‘I think everyone can agree you have made comments about everyone on this couch in regard to their relationship,’ Evelyn began. 

‘Everyone on this couch has made comments about us. That is what you signed up for love,’ Harrison snapped back immediately. 

Melinda Willis chimed in, visibly angry: ‘You’re just a rude guy! It’s bullying. It’s attacking everyone here.’

‘You went at Lyndall (Grace), you went at Evelyn, you went at me. You’re a grown man talking like that to females, have some respect,’ she added. 

‘It’s not bullying. Don’t play the sex card, grow up!’ Harrison hit back. 

Evelyn spoke up again, getting emotional as she said, ‘You enjoy this. I really do think you enjoy this.

‘It p***ed me off because he gets a kick out of it, I genuinely believe that, and it’s hurtful.’

She added: ‘When he sees Layton (Mills) and Melinda arguing he looks so smug and it frustrates me. It comes from a malicious nature’. 

Harrison cried out, ‘There’s nothing malicious about it!’ 

The groom was absolutely in a rage after the confrontation, and shifted angrily on the couch, clearly fuming. 

Seeing that things were getting out of hand, the relationship experts called an end to the barrage, insisting the couples move on to a new topic.
