And on Sunday, MasterChef judge Melissa Leong debuted her striking new look on Instagram.

The 39-year-old almost looked unrecognisable after ditching her signature long raven tresses for a bob cut.

And it appears her followers and celebrity friends couldn’t get enough of her new look.

‘Yes!!! I’ve been trying to do this but every time get talked out of it!!!’ wrote Neighbours actress Sharon Johal.

Melissa is known for being one of the most well-styled judges on MasterChef.

She previously discussed her fashion sense in an interview with Who magazine in November, describing her wardrobe as ‘wearable art’.

‘I do love fashion as a mode of self expression, and I appreciate it for being wearable art,’ she said.

While the fashion-forward foodie is known for her eye-catching outfits, she said that ‘well-made classics’ are always in vogue.

‘What never goes out of style for me, are well made classics. I like to try and spend more on less, in that regard,’ she explained.

Melissa also revealed her wardrobe essentials to the publication.

‘A great trench, jeans that make you feel like a million bucks, a chic winter coat, a dress that always makes you feel comfortable but amazing, cool shoes and of course killer accessories that can elevate any outfit,’ she said.
