Matt Smith led the charge on Monday as the UK finally moved into its next stage of easing lockdown.

The Crown actor, 38, joined pals on a bench outside a pub in London, raising a pint of Guinness to toast the occasion.

Venues are now allowed to serve patrons outside in groups of six or less, with Matt seen with three male friends and his dog in tow.

Matt wrapped up against the chilly spring weather in a black puffer jacket and a beanie hat.

He added skinny jeans to the look and donned round shades for the outing.

He was seen enjoying a long-awaited laugh with his companions, who all seemed relieved to be out of the house.

Presenter Cat Deeley shared a video with husband Patrick Kielty as they too toasted the occasion.

The pair hit an alfresco restaurant in London and enjoyed lunch with bubbly and what looked like an Aperol Spritz.

Various Made In Chelsea cast members were also out and about, with the likes of Ollie Locke sipping some prosecco with a grin on his face. Co-stars Harvey Armstrong and Emily Blackwell were also out raising a glass in Chelsea.

‘Feels good to be eating on the road again!’ Harvey captioned a video, posted to Instagram.
