Mortified: Melinda Messenger has revealed her son Flynn, 19, is ‘horrified’ by her glamour modelling past and asks her why she ever took part in the X-rated shoots
Of her glamour modelling, Melinda, who is mum to son Morgan, 20, Flynn, and daughter Evie, 17, said: ‘The boys have seen my Page 3 days and the two of them are sort of polar opposites about it.
‘Morgan just cracks on and thinks it’s hilarious and quite brilliant in a funny way, Flynn was horrified, like “Mum why did you do that!”.
‘I had to explain to him, that I know he feels like that, but I was 27, he didn’t exist then, and that he will do things at 27 that he wouldn’t do at my age now.

‘Evie is very grounded and down to earth with it all, but there is no way she would want to do anything that I have done, but she is very supportive of me.’
Melinda split from husband Wayne Roberts in 2012.
And the presenter said she has been single over the last year, mostly due to lockdown.
She said: ‘I have been single for the last year, mainly because we have all been stuck in our houses, but I have been glad to have that time alone.
Family: Melinda said her eldest son Morgan, 20, thinks ‘it’s hilarious’ while her daughter Evie is ‘very supportive of me’
‘I kind of didn’t want to be with anybody else or starting a new relationship because it can be all consuming, so I wanted to just be with my kids and get through all this crazy stuff that’s going on.
‘But then I was saying maybe it is time I meet someone and then I was thinking where would I even meet someone, because A) I never go out, and I’m a real home body, I’m not a party animal I never have been, and I just want to meet someone kind and down to earth.’
Melinda said she there’s an ‘old perception’ about being a glamour model and how it may make her seem quite extrovert, she really prefers her ‘home, peace and quiet’.

The presenter said she has been attracting the wrong men for her who ‘like the party lifestyle’.
She added: ‘When you are a single mum or single dad I feel like it is way more difficult to meet someone, especially when you are in the public eye.’
Elsewhere in the podcast, Melinda spoke about social media and self confidence.
She said: ‘I never saw myself as beautiful or pretty or any of those things, so there wasn’t any kind of attachment, so because I didn’t feel that, I never felt like I needed that validated or verified, I still don’t.
‘Everybody is beautiful, we are all these unique people, there are so many layers to us, that’s what makes us interesting or beautiful or attractive.’
