Mollie King flashes £18.5k diamond engagement ring as she braves snowy London

Mollie King flashed her diamond engagement ring on Sunday as she left the warmth of the BBC radio studios and stepped out into snow-covered London.

Wrapped up against the frozen weather, Mollie, 33, showed off her ring, worth £18.5k, keeping the rest of her frame bundled up in a long trench coat.

Her ring appeared to be a simple diamond on a gold band – but caught the eye with its stylish sparkle.

She added a black woolly hat to the look, with a chunky cream sweater and black jeans beneath.

She added black boots to the ensemble and carried a leather purse, leaving her blonde locks loosely walling out from under her hat and around her shoulders.

Mollie and her cricketer fiancé Stuart Broad reportedly boast a combined fortune of £20 million.

The couple announced their engagement on New Year’s Day following a nearly eight-year, on-off romance and have allegedly earned millions with savvy business investments and a vast property empire.

The reports come just a day after MailOnline exclusively revealed that cricketer Stuart, 34, had put his five-bedroom Nottinghamshire home on the market for £2 million.

According to The Sun, Mollie made an eye-watering £2 million from performing as part of girlband The Saturdays and her company Girl About Town Ventures Ltd is thought to be worth £500,000.

The singer also has a property portfolio including a £1 million flat near her hometown in south London.

As well as various TV ventures, Mollie is also a regular weekend host on BBC Radio 1, and has made several appearances as a relief presenter on ITV’s This Morning.

Alongside putting the Nottinghamshire home he shares with Mollie on the market, Stuart also reportedly owns a flat in the county worth £500,000.

The sportsman, who has flown out of the UK to play in England’s cricket winter season in Sri Lanka and India, has a company that’s also worth £2.1 million.

Stuart has already gone down as one of England’s top players, and has earned millions across his 14-year career for the team.

It’s thought his contract salary is around £650,000 per a year, though with bonuses it means he’s earned at least £12 million from his international career.

Stuart also owns two pubs in Leicestershire under the company The Cat and Wickets Pub Company Ltd and at the time of buying, it’s thought the sports star spent £350,000 renovating them.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Mollie King and Stuart Broad for comment.

Last January, Stuart signed a two-year extension to his contract and said that he could not imagine himself playing for any other county than Nottinghamshire.

He and Mollie have been an on-off item since 2012 but have been dating steadily since the start of 2019.

In agreeing to marry him, Mollie becomes the third member of The Saturdays to marry an international sports star.

Fellow band member Frankie Bridge married England footballer Wayne Bridge in 2014 and Una Healy tied the knot in 2012 to England Rugby Union international Ben Foden, who she split from in 2019.
