Montana Brown has slammed ‘insensitive and irresponsible’ influencers who have jetted abroad for ‘work trips’ during the Covid pandemic.
The Love Islander, 24, hit out at fellow reality stars who have jetted off to foreign countries as the UK was plunged into lockdown, despite facing backlash herself for embarking on a trip to Barbados.
She told The Sun: ‘I do think it is insensitive and irresponsible to put on social media that you’re partying or with a large group of people, as it’s rightly seen as wrong by people who are losing family members and losing their businesses.

‘A lot of people’s worlds are crashing down around them. We have a social responsibility to stick to the guidelines in some capacity and just be aware that other people are going through hell.’
The reality star, who has been in Barbados since December, also insisted her trip was completely different from the ones she fiercely judged.
She said: ‘I travelled before there was a national lockdown to see my family, so it was legal for me to travel. I spent Christmas out here.
‘I’ve been here ever since and haven’t moved. I actually haven’t dealt with that much hate online because of that.’

Hoards of celebs including Love Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins and TOWIE’s Yazmin Oukhellou were widely criticised for taking ‘work trips’ to Dubai in recent weeks.
But with the UAE now added to the UK’s ‘red list’ and direct flights banned, it seems Mexico has become the new hotspot for reality stars.
TOWIE’s Frankie Essex, Too Hot to Handle’s Francesca Farago and her girlfriend Demi Sims, model Lottie Moss and pop star Dua Lipa have all been pictured in the country.

Mucking in: The reality star said she ‘loved getting dirty’ for the new series of Celebs on The Farm which airs on MTV on Monday
Montana said it can be easier to connect with fellow stars who understand what it’s like to be famous.
But she also added she’s ‘actively wanted to avoid’ hooking up with one, believing it causes more drama.
For now, the TV personality is happy as a single girl, and the boxing enthusiast has her eye on a competitive fight soon.
She’s set to muck in with Blue’s Duncan James, EastEnders star Shaun Williamson, actress Linda Robson and socialite Lady Colin Campbell on the MTV series Celebs on the Farm which airs on MTV on Monday.
