Motley Crue singer Vince Neil was sent to the hospital after falling off stage on Friday night.

The 60-year-old, who was not performing with Motley Crue, misstepped and fell through an opening between the stage and speaker during a performance at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee‘s Monster on the Mountain Festival, according to TMZ.

The singer tumbled onto cement and was taken to the hospital via ambulance, adds the site.

After falling four feet and hitting the ground, he was helped to his feet by a member of security and a roadie. 

Neil was able to limp away before he was transported to a nearby hospital. 

The website reports his crew thought he had broken several of his ribs. 

While the performer received X-rays, it hasn’t yet been revealed if he’s broken anything. 

Fortunately, Neil is alert and is expected to be OK, according to TMZ.

According to TMZ, the Kickstart My Heart crooner has a history of alcohol addiction, but was not drinking before he fell. 

Despite losing his voice during a show earlier this year, and being slammed for subpar performances in the past, he’s said to have been performing well before the accident Friday.  

In true professional fashion, the show continued as the star sought medical attention with guitarist Jeff Blando filling in the vocals.

Vince Neil originally found fame while performing as the lead vocalist of the hugely popular band Motley Crue. 

The musical group was formed in Los Angeles in 1981.

Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, and Neil sold millions of heavy metal records. Vince last performed with the collective in 2015.
