Tasia Seger won My Kitchen Rules in 2016 with her sister, Gracia.

And now she has won the heart of a very lucky man, as she announced her engagement over the weekend.

The chef, 30, who starred in season seven of the popular cooking show, beamed as she showed off her diamond sparkler on Saturday.

Her fiancé is pastry chef Matteo Veronese, who works at a restaurant in Melbourne.

She revealed on Instagram that Matteo had told her on Christmas Eve: ‘Your other present is on the tree, find it. If not don’t worry about it.’

Tasia found the ring 15 minutes later, whereupon her beau got down on one knee.

The pair have been dating since April 2018, according to Matteo’s Facebook account.

They didn’t appear together on Tasia’s Instagram profile until May 2019. Daily Mail Australia has contacted Tasia for comment.

They stuck to their Indonesian roots by creating a spicy five-course dinner. 

The sisters bested rivals Carmine and Lauren, who created modern Italian dishes.

Tasia and Gracia took home the $250,000 cash prize and went on to create an Asian-inspired sauce range.
