Nadia Bartel is trolled on Instagram over her white powder scandal after returning to social media

It’s not over, Nadia: Embattled WAG Bartel is brutally trolled on Instagram as she returns to social media six weeks after her white-powder scandal

Nadia Bartel has been trolled online following her return to social media.

The former WAG resumed posting on Instagram this week after a six-week hiatus from the app following her white-powder scandal.

A number of naysayers commented on the 36-year-old’s most recent post with cruel questions about the controversy.

Backlash: Nadia Bartel has resumed posting on Instagram after a six-week hiatus following her white-powder scandal, and now a number of trolls have left nasty comments on her page

‘One word answer please: “What was that white powdery substance?”‘ one asked.

‘Give me some powder babe!’ another added, while a third commented: ‘What contraband we got in the pockets? Asking for a friend.’

Nadia returned to Instagram on Tuesday night without mentioning the incident that caused her to fall off the grid for six weeks.

But the socialite will find it hard to avoid the issue for long, according to veteran entertainment reporter Peter Ford on Thursday.

Speaking on 6PR Breakfast with Gareth Parker, Ford said that every reporter will have one burning question for the former WAG: ‘What was on the plate?’

Ford was referring to a damning video circulating during Victoria’s Covid lockdown, in which Nadia could be seen snorting a line of white powder off a $1.50 Kmart plate.

Conceding that ‘it’s not like she burned down an orphanage or anything,’ Ford predicted she wouldn’t be able to avoid the scandal for long.

‘What is going to haunt her though, and sooner or later it’s going to come to the crunch, where somebody will be interviewing her… the first question they’re going to ask is, “What was on that plate?”‘

Caught on camera: Damning footage showed the former WAG attending an illegal gathering in Melbourne during the Covid lockdown on September 2

Embarrassing: Bartel and three other women were each fined $5,452 after footage from the party was accidentally posted on Instagram by her friend and business partner Ellie Pearson

‘And she’s going to have to answer that,’ said Ford, before joking that the substance in question may have been ‘Wizz Fizz’.

Nadia return to Instagram was purely business-related, with the mother of two endorsing a denim collection from her fashion label Henne.

She wrote in her caption: ‘We have been working hard on our denim collection all year and it’s finally here! I am so excited to share @henne_ denim officially dropping tomorrow, 2 styles in 4 must have colours.

Nadia’s last post before the Henne advertisement was an apology for her ‘snorting’ scandal’, uploaded on September 3.
