Nadia Bartel upgrades her crockery – weeks after snorting ‘white powder’ off a $1.50 Kmart dish

Nadia’s very different day on a plate: Bartel shows off her delicious breakfast on fancy crockery after getting busted snorting white powder off a $1.50 Kmart dish

Almost two months have passed since Nadia Bartel was busted snorting white powder off a $1.50 Kmart plate at an illegal party during Melbourne‘s lockdown.

And as the former AFL WAG tries to move on from the scandal, it appears she has also upgraded her choice of crockery.

She shared a photo to Instagram on Wednesday morning of her healthy breakfast, which was arranged on a decadent dish with an elegant grey rim.

Fancy! Mother-of-two Nadia, 36, enjoyed an avocado, a poached egg, a mini omelette and some broccolini and zucchini on a stylish white platter with an elegant grey rim

The mother of two, 36, treated herself to fried halloumi with a poached egg, zucchini, broccolini and avocado.

While she could have prepared the dish at home, the plate of food may have been from a restaurant judging from the presentation and artistic drizzle of olive oil.

But regardless of the venue, the dish was no doubt an upgrade from the infamous $1.50 plate which has been synonymous with Nadia’s name for weeks.

On September 2, Nadia was filmed by her friend and business partner Ellie Pearson breaking Melbourne’s lockdown and snorting white powder from the cheap plate at an illegal gathering at a friend’s house.

Ellie accidentally uploaded the footage to Instagram, forcing Nadia to issue a public apology one day later.

‘Hi everyone, I have let you all down by my actions. I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in future,’ Nadia wrote on Instagram.

‘To my family and friends, my business partners and the public health workers trying to keep us all safe, I am embarrassed and remorseful.

‘I am truly and deeply sorry. I hope I can earn your forgiveness and, in time, your trust.’

At the time, private and public gatherings were not permitted in Melbourne under statewide Covid restrictions.

Nadia’s apology – which included an appeal for forgiveness from health workers – was followed by weeks of silence on social media.

A later report claimed the video first found its way online due to Ellie having a cracked phone screen.

It’s alleged she was attempting to send the video to her sister; however, because her phone screen was damaged, she hit the wrong buttons.

As a result, the clip was posted to both Instagram and Facebook, and was online for about 10 minutes before being deleted, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

But it was quickly copied by others and shared around, going viral on Thursday night and making headlines by Friday morning.

Nadia and three other women were each fined $5,452 after damning footage of the party was posted on Instagram.

Nadia wasn’t charged with drug offences, because police couldn’t prove what she was snorting.

The influencer is a mother of two and the ex-wife of retired AFL star Jimmy Bartel, a Brownlow Medallist who spent his career with the Geelong Cats.

The couple split in 2019 after five years of marriage.
