Alex also cut out alcohol and took up walking 10 kilomteres per day to keep herself youthful, as well as doing a 24 fast once a month.

‘I am just not good on alcohol, so I try to avoid that as much as possible,’ she said.

‘I would say that I was more of a binge drinker, but from giving it away everything just started to be better – parenting, looks, body, work, focus, like everything.’

Cold therapy – which involves having a daily cold shower and swimming in the ocean in colder months – is also part of her anti-ageing plan.

Alex has had a little help from surgeons, too, and says she is a big fan of Botox.

‘I love it. I like anti-wrinkle, I like what it does to the skin, I like how my skin feels when it is working. It slows down those static wrinkles and I think it is a wonderful medication,’ she said.

The stunner added:  ‘I have had everything. Obviously I have had breast augmentation twice after my first two children.’

Replying to fan questions once again on her Instagram Stories, she revealed that a typical day on a plate for her involves, ‘Protein. Little carbs unless I have earned them. Lots of water, and Oysters once a week’.

Alex’s comments come after she shared photos of herself taken in April, 2019, which show her with a fuller face and figure compare to her current toned appearance.

In 2016, she wrote on her website that she doesn’t eat any sugars, breads or pasta and prefers resistance training and body building to aerobics exercises.

‘After having three children I am in the best shape of my life. I owe this to Isagenix shakes twice a day a dinner of lean protein and green based vegetables,’ she wrote.

Besides diet and exercise, Alex has also used cosmetic tweaks to enhance her appearance.

‘I’ve never been more empowered in my life and I’m close to 44,’ she said on the Curious Conversations podcast.

‘I used to hide my age and be very ashamed because there’s such a stigma for women.’

Alex added: ‘I hate when people say, ‘You’re really hot for a mum.’ It’s like, really? Do I have to be attractive for a mum? Can’t I just be attractive? ‘I don’t want to be good for my age. I want to be good.’

The former model said she’s had a little help with maintaining her remarkably youthful visage.

Alex first dabbled with anti-wrinkle injections at the age of 23 after a surgeon urged her to try Botox.

‘I ended up having the treatment – just my frown line,’ she admitted. ‘And when it started to take effect, I could not believe the difference and I then started getting more modelling [jobs] because I was looking super fresh.’

She also drinks four litres of water a day, downing three litres while she’s working at her clinic and then another litre at home in the evening.
