He’s gearing up to play the new Bond villain, Safin, in the upcoming No Time To Die movie.

And Rami Malek used his spare time to polish up his tennis skills on Friday in Los Angeles with his good pal Robert Pattinson. 

The American actor, 40, looked sporty in a pair of cobalt blue gym shorts and an oversized white T-shirt.

The Bohemian Rhapsody star got his game on in the athletic combo, which boasted draw-string, above-the-knee shorts and a breezy tee.  

Rami headed out in a pair of charcoal grey trainers with black laces which he paired with black socks rolled up above the ankle.

The actor, who found fame in the 2015 series Mr. Robot, sported a sleek short-back-and-sides haircut while he covered his eyes with blacked-out sunglasses.

He beat the LA heat and kept himself hydrated with a water bottle whilst en route to meet his A-lister friend.

Robert, 35, headed out to play the racket game in an energetic combo – comprising a similar oversized white tee and black long-length shorts.

The Twilight actor stepped up to the court in a pair of black and red Nike trainers, while he carried his essentials in a black over-the-shoulder bag.

The English actor shielded himself from the blazing sun with a black baseball cap and reflective sunnies.

The pair struck up a friendship on the set of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 over a decade ago, and have remained good friends ever since. 

The Batman star has already faced acclaim ahead of his performance in his upcoming movie The Batman.

His co-star Jeffrey Wright told ComicBook.com: ‘I loved the dynamic that Rob and I were able to create. I’m really excited for people to see what he does with this.’

‘He creates three distinct people. There’s Rob, there’s Bruce Wayne and there’s the Batman and they’re each distinct. It’s really cool’, he added.

Despite production starting last year, its release has been delayed until March 2022.

The hotly-anticipated film is reportedly set to have the world’s biggest premiere when it is released later this year.

The movie will see Daniel Craig’s final adventure as James Bond.
