Nicolas Cage looks sharp in a beige jacket and leather pants while arriving at Q&A session for his much-celebrated drama film Pig in Los Angeles


Nicolas Cage was seen arriving to a Q&A session for one of his latest films, Pig, in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon.

The 57-year-old performer was seen waving at his fans as he stepped out of a car and made his way towards the event’s main area.

The Academy Award-winning actor received much praise for his work on the drama film, which was previously released in July.

Cage wore a light beige jacket on top of a graphic-printed black t-shirt during the event.

The Mandy star also sported a stylish set of leather pants and a pair of matching shoes while arriving at the Q&A session.

The much-awarded performer accessorized with a single silver necklace and a signet ring worn on his left hand.

Cage was announced to have been involved with Pig in 2019, when it was made known to the public that he had been cast in its main role.

The feature follows a reclusive truffle forager who attempts to track down his truffle-finding pig after it is stolen.

Also appearing in the film are performers such as Alex Wolff, Adam Arkin and Gretchen Corbett, among others. 

The film was written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, who adapted it from a story he co-wrote with Vanessa Block, who serves as one of the project’s producers.

The filmmaker previously gave a statement to Deadline where he expressed his excitement for being able to work with the project’s cast. 

‘What began as a very personal project has transformed into a labor of love for so many talented people. I’m thrilled for us all to be bringing this strange world to life,’ he said. 

Block also spoke about how the efforts of those involved with the film resulted in the creation of a truly unique feature. 

‘Sometimes a unique set of circumstances exists for the telling of a pure human story. The creative alchemy of a phenomenal cast and crew has further actualized this magic we’re eager to share with others,’ she said.

Physical production on the feature previously took place in 2019, with Portland, Oregon serving as a primary filming location.

Pig was eventually made available in the United States this past July.

The feature received highly positive reviews from critics, and currently holds a 97% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes
