Culpo spoke about her experience working on Paradise City during a sit-down with Haute Living, where she spoke about how she enjoyed exploring the more emotional side of Gretchen.
She noted that the openness was ‘why I love playing the character so much. I think that heartache is something everyone can relate to. We can all relate to being affected by the actions of someone who continues to make horrible decisions.’
Friendly: She gave a wave as she headed home after the star-studded show
She also spoke about Gretchen’s seemingly well-put-together persona and remarked that she felt a much deeper connection to the figure than her fans might expect.
‘In a sense she feels like she has to be “perfect” to avoid causing any more chaos. I can absolutely relate to that in a lot of ways. I always feel a lot of pressure to come across as being a certain type of way,’ she said.
The model then spoke about working during the ongoing global pandemic and expressed that she had time to rearrange her priorities.

The fashion industry personality concluded the interview by noting that her definition of luxury had changed over the past year and expressed that she was happy for the well-being of her loved ones.
‘Life is short, and sometimes it’s scary, so having a support system around you is the most important,’ she said.
