Paul Bettany, 50, shares hilarious picture of his back after his children secretly applied sunscreen in a phallic shape while on holiday in Es Vedra
And actor Paul Bettany took to Instagram on Wednesday to give his two million followers a very good reason why their children should never be trusted with slapping on the sunscreen for them.
The 50-year-old joked, ‘Things change as you get older and it can be really helpful when your kids become adults and are able to help you apply your sunscreen.’

His sons Kai, 17, and Stellan, 23, with whom he shares with wife, Jennifer Connelly, 50, had clearly been up to mischief, having drawn a phallic shaped masterpiece on their father’s back.
The work of art amassed an influx of comments from fans and fellow-celebs alike.
Star of the Underworld film series, Kate Beckinsale, wrote: ‘Want to like this ten times,’ with comedian Asif Ali chiming in with, ‘SAVE THIS FOR THE MET GALA.’

I think it’s safe to say American Vogue’s famously formidable editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, would be far from impressed.
The prank comes after Bettany revealed he was moved to tears after attending his middle child Stellan’s graduation.
The WandaVision actor admitted he ‘cried like a baby’.

The graduation seemed to have the BAFTA nominee reminiscing. He shared a throwback photo cradling baby Stellan in his arms.
‘Here’s me holding Stellan at about a week old… Today my beautiful kid graduates high school!’ he gushed.
‘Time… My head is spinning. Very proud of everything Stellan has accomplished so far and even more excited about what the future holds. Incidentally this picture was taken on centre court where I won Wimbledon 36 times sooooo take THAT @rogerfederer.’
The photo appeared to have been snapped during the filming of Paul’s 2004 romantic comedy Wimbledon, in which he played a journeyman tennis pro contemplating ending his career as his rank slips, until he’s inspired anew after meeting a rising tennis star, played by Kirsten Dunst.

Paul and Jennifer have a courtship story that seems right out of a movie.
He called her his childhood crush after early appearances in Once Upon A Time In America and Labyrinth, but it wasn’t until they worked together on 2001’s A Beautiful Mind that he was able to meet her.
In a 2015 interview with Larry King, Paul confessed to an ‘instant’ attraction to the actress, but it took the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center for him to act on his feelings.
After seeing footage of the terrorist attack while he was in Tuscany, the actor ‘spent two days trying to call this woman that I sort of barely knew,’ as she lived in New York City.
‘I remember very clearly thinking to myself, “What are you doing?” he recounted. ‘I realized I was in love. So I got her on the phone and said, “I’m coming over. Let’s get married.”‘
Despite the fact that they had never dated, the two were married in 2003 and have been together ever since.
