Rachel Brosnahan was a vision in blue as she filmed scenes for the upcoming fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel in New York City‘s Coney Island.

The 30-year-old actress wore a long coat in robin egg blue with vertical rows of bows on the front as she shot a scene with Caroline Aaron, 68, who plays her on-screen mother-in-law, Shirley Maisel.

The two strong-willed characters frequently clash and the scene they were filming on Thursday appeared to feature a fight between the pair that ended with Rachel storming off.

Beneath her coat, Rachel, who stars as the titular Mrs Midge Maisel, donned a high-necked turquoise blue dress with a bright yellow bow and a wide magenta hem.

Shirley sported a bright orange and white polka dot ensemble with a chunky beaded necklace in matching colors. She carried a wide straw handbag with brightly colored embroidered flowers.

Both women wore straw hats on the sunny day. Brosnahan’s hat featured blue tulle and a magenta ribbon with a flower on the side while the crown of Aaron’s hat was wrapped in a white and orange polka dot fabric.

The women’s feet must not have been visible in the shots because both were wearing comfortable footwear, with Brosnahan sporting slip on sneakers and Aaron in a pair of black UGG boots.
