Real Housewives of Melbourne EXCLUSIVE Why this year’s season will be completely different to others

He’s the renowned fashion designer who has enjoyed regular cameo roles on The Real Housewives of Melbourne since its inception seven years ago.

And ahead of his return to the franchise this year, Melbourne couturier Alin Le’ Kal has revealed just why the 2021 season will stand out from the rest.

Alin, who will make several appearances this season, exclusively told Daily Mail Australia this week that the show’s storyline will be much ‘lighter’ this year, primarily as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

‘I found that filming with them this time was a lot more fun, and more light. It wasn’t as heavy as last time,’ he explained.

‘With the way the world’s going, with the pandemic and all of that, and because it’s been a while since they’ve filmed, they kind of wanted it to be lighter,’ he said, adding: ‘The cast have a lot more fun this season, it’s not so aggressive.’

Alin, who counts original cast-members Gamble Breaux and Janet Roach as close friends, also noted that the social dynamic has shifted this season thanks to the arrival of four new housewives.
