Rebecca Judd can’t wait for Chadstone shopping centre to reopen

Rebecca Judd reveals she can’t wait for Chadstone shopping centre to reopen after Melbourne was plunged into Covid-19 lockdown

She was forced back into her daily routine of homeschooling her children after Melbourne went into a five-day lockdown on February 12.

And as restrictions start to ease in the city, Rebecca Judd has expressed excitement over returning to her favourite shopping centre, Chadstone.

The footy WAG, 38, told her 830,000 Instagram followers on Wednesday she would be at Chadstone at 9am the following day when its doors reopen.

‘@chadstone_fashion is back from 9am tomorrow. See you there,’ she captioned her post, alongside a photo of the shopping complex.

Rebecca also revealed she would be visiting Paul Bram Diamond Jewellery, a business for which she is an ambassador.

‘Showroom reopening tomorrow. 10am – 5.30pm,’ she wrote.

The five-day stage-four lockdown was enforced by Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews earlier this month amid fears the hyper-infectious UK strain of Covid-19 was spreading ‘at light speed’ after leaking from a quarantine hotel at Melbourne Airport.

When the lockdown came into effect, Rebecca shared a video to Instagram of Billie sitting in the family’s lounge room while learning remotely via an iPad.

It was a big moment for her youngsters, who had initially been scared to leave the comfort of homeschooling for the real thing after the the previous lockdown was lifted in October.

Rebecca said on The 3pm Pick-Up that her eldest son, Oscar, was particularly concerned about socialising with people outside his family.

She told her co-host Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond her children were apprehensive about being around other children.

‘My Oscar said, “I feel excited, but a bit nervous to talk to people”,’ she explained, adding: ‘They hadn’t socialised with anyone but our family unit for so long.’
