Ronan Keating proves he’s still got it as crowds SWARM his impromptu show at Isle Of Wight Festival

He rose to fame in the 90 in the Irish boyband Boyzone.

And Ronan Keating proved he’s still got it as he stormed the stage for an impromptu performance at Isle Of Wight Festival on Saturday. 

The singer, 44, headed up the karaoke tent with his wife Storm, 39, at the Kiwi Camp where crowds swarmed for his spontaneous show.

The Life Is A Rollercoaster hitmaker performed his flagship track with lashings of energy as he encouraged his audience to sing along with him.

The star jumped up and down as he commanded the stage, albeit a smaller one than he is used to, as he delighted festival goers with his surprise set. 

Not only did Ronan sound better than ever, he looked just as good, too. The singer cut a chic figure in a pistachio green shirt and light brown chinos for his show.

In true festival fashion, he wore a black and white paisley scarf around his neck while he gazed through dark sunglasses for picture moments with his wife.

Storm also beat the muddy fields in a pair of black fur-lined ankle boots, while she showed off her toned pins in a pair of denim shorts and a matching denim jacket.

Ronan wasn’t the only star at the festival making a stylish name for themselves, Ella Henderson also took to the stage on Saturday – looking incredible in a bright ensemble.

The This Is Real songstress sung her heart out as she donned a 90s-style tie-dye cami top which she paired with a bold orange shirt-jacket and matching joggers.

The singer, 25, let her voice speak for itself as she belted out her set on the Big Top stage.

The former X-Factor contestant raised her arms as she got into the beat of the music, dazzling her fans with her impressive array of necklaces and large earrings.

Ella was closely followed by the likes of Kaiser Chiefs and Example on the Big Top stage, and no doubt enjoyed their performances after her own.

Also showcasing her festival style was another former X-Factor star, Fleur East, who cut a casual figure in a printed black T-shirt and skinny jeans.

Although Fleur wasn’t billed on the list of performers to play at Isle Of Wight Festival this year, she still made the most of easing lockdown restrictions and enjoyed the festivities for herself.

The singer, 33, beamed as she posed in her festival outfit, proudly showing off her festival wristband and posing with a pair of aviator-style sunglasses.

The festival, which has the theme of Peace, Love And Understanding this year, requires festivalgoers aged 11 and above to prove their Covid-19 status.

Guests can either provide proof of their full Covid vaccine, proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test taken prior to travel or proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test taken within 180 days of the performance – taking into account 10 days of self-isolation following the positive result.

Festival organisers John and Caroline Giddings wished guests via the website: ‘Thank you for coming and supporting the event in these troubled times. Our aim is to make it as safe and enjoyable for you as possible.’
