Sacha Baron Cohen stays sun-safe while swimming laps in Bronte, Sydney

He’s believed to making a permanent move Down Under, alongside his wife Isla Fisher and their three children.

And Sacha Baron-Cohen was certainly embracing the Australian lifestyle on Saturday, as he was spotted swimming laps in the blazing 40 degree heat at Bronte’s public baths in Sydney.

The sun-safe 49-year-old slipped on a bright blue legionnaire hat for his dip, shielding his neck from the raging sunshine while keeping a low profile amid the dozens of other swimmers around him.

The Borat star appeared in high spirits as he enjoyed some gentle exercise, using the breast stroke to glide his almost two metre body through the water.

In addition to his protective hat, Sacha covered up by wearing a blue long-sleeved swimming shirt and navy boardshorts.

After his swim, he darted up the stairs next to the pool, before picking up an espresso with a pal.

The couple have taken the major and seemingly permanent step of enrolling their children, Olive, 12, Elula, nine, and Montgomery, five, at a school in Sydney.

She told Marie Claire in 2018: ‘I have this secret fantasy of slowing down, moving to Byron Bay, getting off the grid and sitting on the sand with a Vegemite sandwich.’
