  • The SAGs will be simulcast on TNT and TBS on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 9PM ET/ 6PM PT

Schitt’s Creek and The Crown were the highest-nominated television shows at the 2021 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards with five nods each, while films Minari, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Da 5 Bloods led the movie pack with three potential honors each.    

Ozark was also another stand-out television show, with the hit Netflix series scooping up an impressive four nominations.

The nominations were announced Thursday morning on Instagram Live by Lily Collins and Daveed Diggs.

Da 5 Bloods, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Minari, One Night in Miami, and The Trial of the Chicago 7 were nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal), Chadwick Boseman (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom), Anthony Hopkins (The Father), Gary Oldman (Mank), and Steven Yeun (Minari) were all nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture.

Amy Adams (Hillbilly Elegy), Viola Davis (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom), Vanessa Kirby (Pieces Of A Woman), Frances McDormand (Nomadland), and Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman) were all nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture.

Sacha Baron Cohen (The Trial Of the Chicago 7), Chadwick Boseman (Da 5 Bloods), Daniel Kaluuya (Judas and the Black Messiah), Jared Leto (The Little Things), and Leslie Odom, Kr. (One Night In Miami) are all up for Outstanding Performance By a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.
