Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn changing face

As fans devour season four of Selling Sunset, its star Christine Quinn’s altering appearance over the past two years is hard to miss.

The Netflix show first hit the streaming service back in 2019, making stars out of The Oppenheim Group’s glam real estate agents.

The show’s ‘dominatrix, gothic Barbie’ Christine, 33, has been at the center of the drama over the past four seasons, but it’s her changing face that has really hit the spotlight.

Season four of Selling Sunset sees Christine settling into life as a mom and while she admits in the opening episode of the series that she’s missing her regular Botox during pregnancy, her appearance is still markedly different from season one.

The opening series saw the blonde bragging that ‘nothing about me is fake except my boobs,’ as she debuted a much more natural look.

The star also favoured a toned down her wardrobe when she first made it onto screen, ditching the neon colours and minis for blazers and power suits.

In a 2020 interview with Vogue, Christine explained her more ‘conservative’ approach to fashion back in 2019.

‘I went into the show wanting to be taken seriously. Even though I’m confident, I dressed in a way that I thought people would expect a realtor to look,’ she admitted.

‘I was a little more conservative, I covered up more. One thing I learned in season two is that [fashion] doesn’t define you. I can be a professional and sell homes, and it doesn’t matter what I wear.

The interview also saw Christine, who famously held a ‘burgers and Botox’ open house in season one, chat candidly about her love of a nip and tuck.

‘I tell people all the time: I got my boobs done, I get my lips done, tons of Botox, tons of makeup. How I look on [‘Selling Sunset’] is not how I look when I wake up in the morning,’ she said.

‘My glam isn’t cheap, either — $1,000 a day, if I go all out. It’s expensive to look this cheap.’

Christine added that she’s ‘all about plastic surgery truth-bearing,’ explaining, ‘It’s important in a world where there’s this facade of social media causing people to have body dysmorphia. People think that [things are] real, and they’re not.’

And she’s showing no sign of slowing down, admitting that she couldn’t wait to get back to her glam after giving birth to her son earlier this year.

‘After I popped my baby out, as soon as I could walk again, the first place I went to was for Botox and filler,’ she told OK! online.
