Shahs Of Sunset: Mike Shouhed blows up at friends at his own birthday celebration over naughty texts

Mike Shouhed blew up at his friends when they pressed him about his naughty text messages on Sunday’s episode of Shahs Of Sunset.

The cast had gathered in Palm Springs to celebrate Mike’s 42nd birthday but nothing was going according to plan.

He’d been busted last week by his girlfriend Paulina Ben-Cohen, who discovered his phone was full of salacious messages to unknown women.

She in turn had contacted several members of the group about it, which had put Mike in their cross-hairs.

Everyone seemed pretty sure he’d done it even as he denied it and said he was being framed.

At the party, Mike finally lost his cool.

‘If anyone wants to get involved in my f***ing relationship, step up now, talk to me, let me know what you think you know,’ he shouted. ‘But I don’t want to f***ing talk about this s*** anymore. It’s my godd*** relationship. Stay the f*** out of it.’

Mike was already in trouble as the episode opened, claiming that he’d never sent the text messages that someone forwarded to Paulina.

He denied having WhatsApp, the platform they’d come through, until Nema Vand, 33, noted they were all on a WhatsApp group chat.

Nema read one message in which ‘Mike’ asked the other party to wait so he could finish himself off sexually and marveled at the graphic language used.

He said it sure sounded like the texts Mike sent, and others agreed.

London Laed, 33, a new cast member and friend to Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid, 48, said she’d already met ‘a part of Mike’: his penis.

‘Me and Mike’s penis met a year ago, actually,’ she said in a confessional. ‘Me and my mutual friend were hanging out, and then Mike’s penis texted. I felt slightly traumatized, but for a penis it was nice.’

London was a life coach, and MJ felt like her energy would be good for the group, so she invited her to Palm Springs.

Reza Farahan, 47, and Adam Neely, 36, weren’t sure what would happen when the gang got back together but they were optimistic.

‘I’m hoping that Palm Springs will be an exchange of olive branches between everyone and there will just be a lot of positivity coming out of it,’ said Reza.

The friend groups split in two, with their alliances determined by the limos they chose.

The first stretch limo carried Reza, Golnesa ‘GG’ Garachedaghi, 39, and Destiney Rose, 37, while MJ, London, Mike and Nema went in the other.

Reza and MJ had decided the theme of the weekend would be 2010, referring to the last year the whole group had gotten along.

Nema was worried about the trip; he hadn’t spoken to Reza in a year, and sensed that the man blamed him for interfering in his relationship with MJ.

‘This is the first time that the group has been together in a very long time,’ Nema told the cameras. ‘And we’re gonna be all together, under a roof, with a lot of alcohol and a handful of very incriminating text messages floating in the air. What could go wrong?’

Before they arrived, Reza and his pals stopped by a market to pick up a list of Persian food the other housemates made.

Unable to find things, he noted dryly that they were in ‘Rancho Mirage, b****,’ not ‘Tehrangeles,’ but still spent $1,733.88.

As soon as he got to the house, Reza began to square off with Nema in the kitchen.

He said he was angry that Nema had ‘gotten in the way’ of his 30-year friendship with MJ by bringing her to an event last year when they were still feuding.

‘So I’m responsible for your f***ing actions?’ Nema asked.

‘I don’t need to talk to you ’cause you’re a b****,’ Reza shouted. ‘Go get your nose done, b****!’

GG rushed in and Reza griped, ‘He’s such a f***ing loser.’

Harsh language: 'I don't need to talk to you 'cause you're a b****,' Reza shouted. 'Go get your nose done, b****!'

MJ agreed that Reza’s rant didn’t make sense, and Nema knew that Reza had no grounds to dislike him.

‘He f***ed up a 30-year-friendship,’ Nema reasoned. ‘And everyone else is guilty instead of him.’

Reza called Adam to say he wished he hadn’t come on the trip, and revealed that he said ‘some crazy s*** to Nema.’

He soon felt remorse, and headed to the kitchen, where he told London that he and Nema must care about each other or they wouldn’t fight so hard.

‘You guys have a lot in common,’ London affirmed. ‘Share two things that you like about each other.’

‘He has the best haircare products on the planet,’ Nema offered. ‘And two, Reza is the kind of friend that when he shows up for you, it’s through the roof.’

‘He has the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen,’ Reza said of Nema. ‘And Nema is always jovial and wants to have a good time, get the party started, you know?’

He apologized to Nema, saying, ‘I should have walked away. I was feeling agitated from the store, and I knew better, and I didn’t do better.’

Reza shook Nema’s hand then pulled him in for a hug.

In a bedroom, MJ gave Mike a horn to squeeze if anybody acted out, and handed GG a black crown that she could wear while telling others what to do.

‘Back in the day, we were just so young and innocent, and we never had any beef,’ MJ recalled. ‘This is why we’re going back to that beautiful time, to start anew.’

When GG and London hung out by the pool, London shared her backstory.

She’d run away from home at 13 because she was gay and not feeling accepted, and when she went into therapy, she realized she wanted to be a life coach.

London felt most relationships broke up because of personal baggage, but GG said hers ended because she wasn’t intellectually stimulated enough.

‘I’m resonating a little bit with polyamory,’ she added, explaining that she didn’t like commitment. ‘I don’t like monogamy. It’s not for me.’

GG asked London if she had any single men for her; London said they weren’t into polygamy.

‘I want them to all be my b****es,’ GG explained.

MJ and Reza then announced that they were holding a 2010 New Year’s Eve party, complete with ‘Reza-lutions.’

They all changed into ‘something celebratory’ and donned gag New Year’s Eve accessories.

Everyone listed resolutions for the year; MJ’s was to repair her relationship with GG.

Mike said he needed to control his emotions and not let them get the best of him, ‘even when I’m trying to protect what I love or what I think is right. At the end of the day, people have opinions, and they’re entitled to it. You just gotta let them speak their mind.’

Nema also sought to repair his relationship with GG, adding that he would ‘lead with empathy.’

GG said she would tell everyone at the table to ‘wait and see. I’m not the bad guy in the group.’

Destiney wanted to communicate better and ‘be there’ for her friends.

Reza sought to make just one resolution: No more talk about Mike’s penis.

Mike looked upset and got up from his chair, sure that Reza was ‘poking the bear.’

GG went over and told Mike she was on his side, but suggested, ‘Stop f***ing lying to these chicks. Just from up front, just say how you are. I know now about myself, how I am. I know I can’t be with one person. I can’t. I need multiple relationships at the same time. That’s how I like it.’

Mike replied that he loved Paulina and that people ‘with issues’ were trying to get in between them—something he wouldn’t allow to happen.

‘I’m here saying, ‘Homie. I don’t give a f*** what Paulina f***ing says,’ GG reassured him. ‘Find out who you are and who you want to be in relationships.’

‘It’s no one’s business,’ Mike carped.

Multiple relationships: 'I know now about myself, how I am. I know I can't be with one person. I can't. I need multiple relationships at the same time. That's how I like it,' GG told Mike

GG felt Mike was being unresponsive to her and ended the conversation.

‘Taking advice from GG about relationships is kinda like taking cooking advice from Jeffrey Dahmer,’ Mike opined. ‘Probably wouldn’t want to do that.’

Moments later, he blew up at the group and told them to stay out of his business.

‘All I keep thinking when I look at Mike is, ”You suck for toying with someone’s heart”,’ Destiney said.

She reassured Mike that she cared for Paulina and wanted the best for them as a couple.

‘But we all know it’s not the first time,’ she continued, as Mike looked intensely blank.

‘Vaveyla,’ Reza said, meaning ‘Oh my God.’ ‘This is going down a road I really don’t like.’

Destiney told Mike, ‘You can get mad at me all I want. You can deflect all you want.’

Mike said he didn’t want to talk about it, that he’d been minding his business.

‘So were we when we got the text messages too, Mikey-joon,’ Destiney said.

‘It doesn’t f***ing matter,’ Mike said, slamming the table with his fist. ‘Mind your own godd***ed business. If you have a problem, come talk to me.’

‘Don’t take your aggression out on her,’ Reza cautioned.

‘Dude, you’re so, so shallow dude,’ Destiney told Mike.

‘I shop at f***ing Target,’ Mike said. ‘That’s not shallow, boo-boo. Shallow? Shallow? You would drown in my ocean of depth.’

‘Shallow?’ he asked again, walking off. ‘Hah!’

Shahs Of Sunset will return next week on Bravo.
