Sister Wives’ new season is set to premiere this fall on TLC … as family has ‘a difference of opinions about COVID protocols’


The upcoming 10th season of the TLC series Sister Wives is set to debut later this fall, with many new issues for the Brown family to contend with.

In the new season, the network said that the Brown family – Kody, 52, and wives Meri, 50, Janelle, 52, Christine, 49, Robyn, 42, and their kids – will focus on ‘a difference of opinions about COVID protocols’ amid the ongoing pandemic.

It’s an element that ‘creates tension between Janelle’s family and Kody and Robyn,’ as ‘they are splitting apart at the seams over the upcoming holidays,’ TLC said.

According to the network, ‘More than one wife is questioning the future’ amid the tense times of the pandemic.

Kody’s relationship with Christine is tested amid her ‘desire to move to Utah’ from the family’s home base of Flagstaff, Arizona, according to the network, after Utah decriminalized polygamy early last year.

Christine’s push to ‘finally move back home’ receives ‘a resounding no from each of’ the fellow sister wives, according to the network.

‘When he tries to talk Christine out of it, she can’t even have a conversation with him and walks out in tears,’ TLC said.

In a testimonial, Christine opened up about her disenchantment in Arizona, saying, ‘I agreed to move to Flagstaff and I followed Kody here, but it’s been a struggle the whole time.

‘I don’t want to look at the mountains and remember the angels, how they were singing and I felt this pull,’ she said. ‘I’m tired of feeling like I don’t matter. I’m tired of not having his support when I really need it. I’m just tired. I need a partnership. I need something different than this.’

In the new season, viewers see as Meri ‘has no romantic relationship with Kody, she seems to be doing better and managing the drama within the family well.’

The show’s new season is set to debut on TLC November 21 at 10/9c.
