Socialite Nadia Fairfax marries longtime partner Michael Wayne in Sydney

Sydney socialite Nadia Fairfax married her longtime partner, financier Michael Wayne, on Thursday.

The couple were wed in a no-expense-spared ceremony at Swifts, a heritage-listed late-Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.

Nadia, 31, looked stunning in a strapless white gown with a full skirt and fitted bodice with ruching.

Her long blonde hair was styled half-up, half-down with a ’60s-style bouffant and face-framing strands.

Nadia accessorised simply with a plain gold necklace and a collection of delicate bracelets and rings. 

Meanwhile, Michael opted for a camel-coloured suit, which he paired with a white shirt and a black tie.

The excited groom was seen beaming as he greeted guests outside the venue ahead of the wedding ceremony.

High-profile guests included former rugby league footballer Luke Ricketson, famed horse trainer Gai Waterhouse and stylist Caroline Tran.

Kate Waterhouse was also in attendance, and looked stunning in a figure-hugging long pink dress.
