Sophie Monk is left red-faced after making an embarrassing blunder on The Hundred with Andy Lee

‘People think I’m the biggest bogan as it is’: Sophie Monk is left red-faced after confessing she’s not a fan of her middle name ‘Charlene’ – only to realise another Charlene was listening in on The Hundred with Andy Lee

Sophie Monk couldn’t conceal her embarrassment after making a gaffe during an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of The Hundred with Andy Lee.

The 41-year-old singer-turned-TV host was discussing her middle name, Charlene – specifically how she’s not a fan of it.

Host Andy Lee had asked the show’s panel of every day Aussies if there was anyone who didn’t like their name, when a woman called Charlene stepped forward.

Sophie then revealed that her middle name also happens to be Charlene, and said that it was a ‘bogan’ name.

‘My middle name’s Charlene, and I liked it, but I thought of changing it to Charlie, because people think I’m the biggest bogan as it is,’ she explained.

But Sophie didn’t seem to realise that Charlene was still listening in on the conversation, with the Love Island host desperate to backpedal on her remarks.
