Sporty by name, sporty by nature! Spice Girl Mel C works up a sweat as she goes for a morning jog in London
Mel C proved she was sporty by name, sporty by nature on Sunday as she ventured out for a jog close to her London home.
The Spice Girl caught the eye as she burned off the calories in a fitted grey top, black leggings and trainers.
With her eyes shielded behind a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses, Mel, 47, looked focused while jogging alone close to sprawling park.

The appearance comes after Mel claimed she didn’t think she’d ‘survive’ if she became a star during the current age of social media.
The Spice Girls star reflected on the hardships she faced during her rise to fame in the 90s on Sink The Pink’s Pop-Tarts’ live Instagram series on Thursday.
Discussing her appearance as a guest judge on The Voice Kids, she detailed her relief at not entering the spotlight today by saying: ‘I don’t think I’d hack it, I don’t think I’d survive today.’

Looking back at her own mental health battle while in the Spice Girls, Mel went on: ‘I wish I had sought some kind of professional help to avoid some of the hurdles that were in the way.
‘Even though we had each other, and us girls were experiencing the same things at the same time. But everybody deals with things differently.’
Mel added: ‘I’m one of the more mature coaches. I kind of feel maternal over everybody. I’ve always been like that even back in the day, back in the band, I looked after Baby Spice quite a lot.’
‘Becoming famous at a young age is a really hard thing to get your head around,’ she went on.
‘I don’t think there’s enough support for young artists. Being thrust into the public eye does your head in.’

In October last year, Mel spoke of how she ‘struggled’ with an eating disorder and depression after the pressures of her Spice Girls fame ‘pushed her to the point of illness’.
The singer, who rose to prominence as Sporty Spice in the hugely successful nineties pop group, described how she found the lows of fame ‘devastatingly hard’.
Speaking to The Observer, she said: ‘The lows of being famous were devastatingly hard.’

She continued: ‘It pushed me to the point of illness. I was struggling with an eating disorder and suffering from depression.
‘I had everything I’d ever dreamed of, and was desperately unhappy. It’s often forgotten that people in the public eye are human.’
The 1996 Wannabe hitmaker, mother to 11-year-old Scarlet who she shares with her ex Thomas Starr, described how she was ‘ashamed’ to accept help and ‘could see not way out’.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: ‘I didn’t have the will any longer to stay in this life.
‘That is when I decided to go and see my GP… the first thing he wanted to address was my depression.
‘It was a massive relief to me. I just thought I was going mad, it had a name, it was something you could be helped with… recover from.’
