‘These are some jiving legs!’ Strictly’s Clara Amfo struggles to walk after gruelling training session with Aljaz Skorjanec

She landed bottom of the leaderboard last week after her Samba failed to impress.

And Clara Amfo proved she was giving rehearsals her all for the next Strictly Come Dancing live show as she revealed her ‘jiving legs’ in a fun Instagram video on Thursday.

The radio DJ, 36, posted the clip, captioned ‘These Hips Don’t Lie’ which zoomed in on her legs as she said: ‘There’s some jiving legs, these are some jiving legs.’

Keep dancing: Clara Amfo proved she was giving rehearsals her all for the next Strictly Come Dancing live show as she revealed her ‘jiving legs’ in a fun Instagram video on Thursday

She filmed Aljaz, 30, who showed off his dance moves, as he joked: ‘Hips as well!’ to which Clara replied: ‘Hips can’t forget that.’

Clara then comically pushed Aljaz out of the way of the mirror as she stood with her legs bent to and said: ‘I was literally in my flat walking like this’ before shuffling around in the video.

She added: ‘But it’s all OK – it’s going to be worth it.’

Clara and Aljaz will be hoping to bounce back from last week’s low score of 18 for their Samba, as they dance the Jive to Tina Turner.

Earlier this month Clara revealed just how much blood, sweat and tears must be invested to do well on the show, as she took to her Instagram story to show off a hand injury.

The star showed her hand bandaged up in an orange plaster as she explained that she had hurt it ‘at some point’ during the previous night

The much-loved broadcaster said: ‘This happened at some point yesterday – I don’t really remember.

‘Like during rehearsal or the actual dance — too much enthusiastic Charlestoning. Worth it though!

‘It will go down I’m sure – I’m just going to be a left-hander today, and just enjoying the day.’

Caroline Quentin became the fourth contestant to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday.

During the pre-recorded results show, the actress, 60, took part in the dance-off against Maisie Smith – who narrowly avoided the chop for a second time – after scoring 24 and 27 points out of 40, respectively.

The former Jonathan Creek star and her professional partner Johannes Radebe failed to impress viewers or the judges with their Cha Cha, with Craig Revel Horwood even comparing Caroline to the Are You Being Served character Mrs Slocombe.

The broadcaster fell short when she and South African dancer Johannes, 33, performed the Cha Cha to Rescue Me by Fontella Bass, while EastEnders star Maisie, 19, and Gorka Márquez, 30, danced the Salsa to Meghan Trainor’s Better When I’m Dancing.

Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke – who filled in for Motsi Mabuse while she self-isolates – unanimously chose to save the soap star once again following a challenging couple of weeks.

On Saturday night the judges had a mixed reaction to the routine’s energetic hip thrusts, while Caroline at one point appeared to lick Radebe’s arm.
