Studio 10’s WILDEST moments: From Natasha Exelby’s lewd puns to Denise Drysdale rant about ‘Arabs’

Studio 10’s WILDEST moments exposed – from Natasha Exelby’s lewd puns to Denise Drysdale bizarre rant about ‘Arabs’ – and the surprising reason they get away with it

You may not know it, but there’s no wilder place on Australian TV than Studio 10.

On Wednesday, ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering aired a highlight reel of Studio 10’s most eyebrow-raising moments – prompting many viewers to ask how on earth the show has gotten away with it for so long.

The reason, it seems, is that the morning program airs while most people are at work, meaning there simply aren’t enough people watching to complain.

The first clip in The Weekly’s compilation showed Studio 10’s Denise Drysdale bizarrely ranting about ‘Arabs’.

‘I tell you, Russia or the other mob that keeps bombing things… who are they?’ Denise told her fellow panellists Sarah Harris and Tristan MacManus.

‘I don’t know!’ Sarah laughed awkwardly.

‘North Korea?’ newsreader Narelda Jacobs suggested.

‘No, no, not Korea… Arabs… the Ubdidubiss,’ Denise replied, before presumably attempting to pronounce the name of political group.

Elsewhere, the compilation highlighted newsreader Natasha Exelby’s love for sharing X-rated puns.

In one scene, Natasha bizarrely told her gobsmacked Studio 10 colleagues: ‘Triptych… it’s very close to ripped d*ck.’

During another segment about food, Natasha said: ‘What I put in and out of my mouth, that’s not something I’m proud of.’

Another particularly racy clip sees Natasha suddenly pulling down her dress and flashing her white bra to the camera.

The compilation also featured a raunchy clip of entertainment reporter Angela Bishop questioning the panel about whether it’s possible to have sex in space.

‘There is no sound,’ Narelda cheekily replied, prompting Sarah to add: ‘No one can hear you scream!’

Tristan MacManus, who joined the panel late last year, also had his fair share of eyebrow-raising moments, including a shot where he tells the panel: ‘I like fat girls and I like skinny girls.’

In another clip, Tristan shares his opinions on Prince Phillip’s physical appearance.

‘He’s not beautiful, though,’ the Irish dancer declared as a photo of the 99-year-old royal flashed on-screen.

‘I mean, this annoys me. You know when people go, ‘Oh, he’s beautiful’. He’s not beautiful.’

Other clips show Tristan insisting that he’s ‘not homosexual for eating a Golden Gaytime ice-cream’, as well as insisting that people who drink alcohol and ‘rack up’ [snort cocaine] should do it at home.
