Next to that image was another picture of her taken from behind which showed her vest had been pulled back and held in place with two binder clips.

The effect was to make the top appear more fitted to Natalie’s body shape, rather than loose or baggy on her frame.

‘TV vs real life!’ she wrote in the caption, adding the hashtags #reallife, #fashion and #TVlife.

Natalie’s wardrobe trick comes after she Twitter ablaze when she appeared to be naked from the waist down on the Seven breakfast program last month.

The newsreader was sitting on the panel discussing surfing matters with her co-hosts Sam Armytage and David ‘Kochie’ Koch when it appeared as though she was bottom-less on screen from a particular angle.

She wore a blush pink top and matching skirt that seemed to blend with her skin tone on screen, which she would have been unaware of.

It was only when a viewer tweeted at her that she realised and joined in on the joke about her optical illusion outfit.
