Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris are currently under investigation by police in Los Angeles after allegations of sexual abuse arose earlier this year.
United in their defiance of the accusations, the couple tried to forget about their legal woes for a few hours when they attended Saweetie’s Freaknik-themed 28th birthday bash in Los Angeles this weekend.
The festive event, which saw the birthday girl being gifted with a white Rolls Royce truck, brought out some of Saweetie’s closest friends, family, and celebrities who were decked out in their best 1990s ‘Freaknik’ attire.

In May, it was reported T.I. and Tiny were under investigation by the LAPD, based on claims that they sexually assaulted and drugged a woman they met in a nightclub in 2005.
The woman, who is only identified as ‘Jane Doe’ in court documents, met with detectives virtually in April, after her attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, sent a letter to local authorities calling for an investigation into her claims, according to The Daily Beast.
Blackburn would later claim that more than 30 women contacted him accusing T.I. and his wife of ‘forced drugging, kidnapping, rape and intimidation’ in at least two states, including California and Georgia, and that the allegations span more than 15 years, as reported by the Associated Press.
Steve Sadow, the attorney for T.I. and Tiny, said his clients ‘steadfastly deny and repudiate’ all the allegations, and that the couple had not spoken or been contacted by police in Los Angeles, Las Vegas or any other jurisdiction in the country.
In the wake of the accusations, production on T.I.’s VH1 reality series T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle has been suspended.
