‘It also never once made me question my decision or make me feel insecure. I just hope that it maybe gave someone the courage to continue breastfeeding despite despite external pressures.’

She continued: ‘My advice is whatever your decision is as a mum it’s your decision you know what’s right for your baby and yourself.

‘It’s kind of crazy, people get so angry’: Tamara admitted she was baffled by the reaction her breastfeeding photos had caused

She told This Is Mothership‘s Gemma Rose Breger and Samantha Silver as part of the mummy bloggers’ Sofa Sessions, in 2018: ‘It’s kind of crazy that it causes so much of a stir and people get so angry.

‘There have been so many people that have written to me and said to me, “You made us feel like it’s OK to carry on and you really helped, thank you for normalising it” – so all I take away from my experience is the positive.

‘The haters – whatever – they’re always going to be haters.’

She explained that after realising the reaction her breastfeeding photos would generate, she saw posting them as ‘something positive’. Tamara said: ‘I believe in it so I’m not going to be bullied into posting about it.’
