Laura Byrne and Matty ‘J’ Johnson welcomed their second child earlier this year. 

The Bachelor stars have two daughters under two, Marlie-Mae, 16 months, and Lola, four months. 

And on Friday, the busy 35-year-old mother admitted housework has fallen by the wayside.

Laura shared a photo in which she was cuddled up with her two children on Instagram Stories.

She wrote in the caption: ‘The house is basically never clean and there is a pile of washing the size of a skip bin sitting in our laundry.’

‘But coming home to these cheeky chops is rather excellent,’ she added.

It comes after Laura and Matty’s wedding planning got off to a rocky start after they made a series of embarrassing gaffes on their invites.

In videos posted to Laura’s Instagram Stories on Thursday, the couple – who met on the 2017 season of The Bachelor – revealed their mistakes.

Both Matty, 33, and Laura couldn’t contain their laughter as they spoke about sending out email invites after being pressed for time.

‘We didn’t realise that the website… we didn’t realise that it had all these options, like what people wanted to eat. And it had default options…’ explained Laura.  

Matty then interrupted and revealed that they’d unknowingly sent out their wedding invites with the website’s default options still attached. 

‘I thought the RSVP questions were just like, “Are you coming? Yes or no?” I didn’t realise that it’s like, “What size bed do you want?”‘ he added.

Matty said he’d been getting back strange RSVPs that he couldn’t make sense of until he realised their mistake. 

‘The dress code is set to “something sexy”, so that’s also happening,’ laughed Laura.   

The couple, who got engaged in April 2019, are set to wed at the end of the year, after postponing their wedding by a year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
