The Block: Dylan and Jenny break silence on Gisborne home finally selling

The Block’s Dylan and Jenny say they’re ‘glad we can move on’ after FINALLY selling their house three months after auction day – as mystery surrounds the sale price

The Block’s Dylan Adams and Jenny Heath have broken their silence after their home finally sold earlier this week.

The Gisborne property found a buyer in a private sale three months after it was passed in at auction day; however, mystery surrounds its sale price or whether it reached its original $4.08million reserve.

The engaged couple took to Instagram on Tuesday to reflect on the sale while sharing a photo of themselves smiling on their verandah.

‘Hi, everyone. Thank you all for your beautiful messages. It has been overwhelming,’ they wrote.

‘We did hear about the sale and we’re glad we can now move on. We’re so excited to now focus on selling the Palm House. Big love.’

The pair’s Macedon Ranges home was passed in at auction last November when it failed to meet the $4.08million reserve.

Nine announced on Tuesday the home had been bought through private treaty.

A network spokesperson confirmed the house went to a family ‘in what is a positive outcome for everyone’, but would not disclose a sale price.

Nine has yet to announce how much House 4 sold for, but has indicated the figure will not be made public due to it being a private sale.

‘Dylan and Jenny’s house is now a much-loved property for a family who were impressed with the high standard of the build, and incredible views of the Macedon Ranges so close to Melbourne,’ a representative said.

TCC Real Estate agent Kirrily Evans told NCA NewsWire the house sold on Monday to a ‘lovely family’ who ‘fell in love the minute they walked through’.
