The Block’s Josh and Luke Packham celebrate their rarely seen builders

The Block’s Josh and Luke Packham have paid tribute to the hard-working builders who have helped them transform their home at Bronte Court.

Josh shared a photo to Instagram on Thursday of himself Luke with their building team, including Ryan Graham, on the work site.

He wrote: ‘Although they didn’t receive the screen time they deserved, these amazing builders, now mates for life, worked their butts off for 12 solid weeks.’

Shout-out: The Block’s Josh and Luke Packham have paid tribute to the hard-working builders who have helped them transform their home at Bronte Court

‘Nothing but praise for the work they completed from start to finish,’ he added.

The tribute comes after the twins, 27, received the lowest score after leaving the judges ‘disgusted’ during Sunday’s room reveals.

The former Love Island stars later shared photos of their renovated space on Instagram, and wrote: ‘Another rinsing this week.

‘Contrary to what was shown, Luke and I were up till 5am doing as much as possible to present the rooms for judging.’

‘As for the remainder of the home which has nothing to do with the judges, get ready for the facelift of the century,’ he continued, hinting at the week ahead.

‘We will also be transforming the study this week into a big bedroom!

‘Another massive week from our team with the finish line now in sight. Can’t wait to share everything we achieve over the coming week.’

Oh dear! The tribute comes after the twins received the lowest score after leaving the judges 'disgusted' with their rooms earlier this week. They received eight points out of 30, making it one of the lowest results in Block history

The judges, Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Neale Whittaker, were livid over the state of the boys’ house during Sunday’s episode of The Block.

The trio did not mince their words as they walked through the ‘inexcusable pigsty’ of a living room to get to the unfinished study and ‘disastrous’ shower.

Things took a turn for the worse when the trio entered the living room, which was littered with boxes and there was even a mattress thrown on top of the lounge.

Although the room wasn’t being judged, Shaynna was disgusted by the abandoned mattress and the amount of dirt on the flat-screen TV, describing it as ‘ridiculous’.

A furious Neale then asked: ‘Where is the bloody respect?’

‘I don’t care what the mattress is doing there. This makes me so angry,’ he raged.

The twins received a disastrous score of just eight points out of 30, making it one of the lowest results in Block history.

Josh and Luke fumed in a piece to camera after the judging, letting out an expletive.

‘If Neale wants to try and complete four areas in a week, I’ll give him the brush and we’ll see how he goes,’ Josh said.

Luke was far more blunt, saying: ‘I have nothing to say to them. Completely disrespectful and they can go get f**ked. I’m not saying anything else.’
