The appearance comes just days after he picked up the awards for Best Artist and Best Pop Release at the 2021 ARIA Awards for his single, Stay, which he recorded with Justin Bieber.

‘Starting this, that’s all I ever wanted to do, just bring up the culture and show the world how good Australian music was.

‘Shout out to every single one of you guys out there who’s been supporting it. I’ll be back next year on tour, and I can’t wait to see all you guys. I love you.’

‘Last week I went on a small vacation for the first time in a while,’ The Kid LAROI – real name Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard – wrote on Instagram on November 16.

‘During that time I started thinking, and I made the decision that I need to take some time away from everything and focus on the next project; my debut album.

‘I’m going to miss you all beyond words can describe, but I do believe that this is what I need to do to give you all the best music possible.’

Addressing his fans, he added: ‘It’s been a wild year to say the least… There is no way I will ever be able to repay you.’
