On Monday’s episode of The Project, Carrie Bickmore was surprised by her co-stars pulling up an embarrassing throwback photo.
The TV host, 40, laughed helplessly as fellow panelist Peter Helliar, 45, cracked jokes about the image, in which Carrie was 16, and attending a school ball with a date.
‘Back in the day they photoshopped you to look like a ventriloquist in one of your high school photos,’ he joked.

‘That’s my year twelve ball!’ Carrie guffawed as the image was shown on screen.
‘I so desperately wanted him [her date] to kiss me that night and I only found out years later I never had a chance,’ she added.
Peter continued ribbing her, joking: ‘Why have the photoshopped your grandmother’s curtains over your dress?’

She also explained she and her mother hand handmade the dress just for the formal.
The TV host is no stranger to sharing throwback photos of herself to Instagram.
Earlier this month, she had followers doing a double take when she shared a collage of photographs from the 1990s to her social media.
