He welcomed his first child, a daughter named Elle with his wife Anna Heinrich last month.

And Tim Robards has already found a unique way to involve Elle in his regular workout routine.

On Tuesday, the chiropractor, 38, uploaded a sped-up video of himself exercising at an outdoor gym with one-month-old Elle strapped to his chest.

‘Terrible to watch’: The Bachelor’s Tim Robards, 38, has been slammed for sharing a video of himself working out with one-month-old daughter Elle strapped to his chest on Tuesday

While it’s common for athletes to wear heavy vests to enhance their workouts, many fans were unimpressed by Tim’s decision to use his baby as a body weight.

‘Sorry I had to unfollow you. What you are doing with your baby makes me so nervous,’ one concerned follower commented.

‘Felt anxious watching it. Way too young,’ another agreed, while someone else added: ‘Not sure if it’s the right thing to do with a so young bub!’

It didn’t take long for Tim to hit back at the criticism.

After one fan suggested the Bachelor star’s child-inclusive workout was ‘not good for a baby’s brain’, Tim promptly replied: ‘[The video] was sped up don’t worry yourself.’

‘I didn’t actually do them that quick,’ he added, referring to the pull-ups he performed during the video.

Other fans rushed to Tim’s defence, declaring that Elle wasn’t in any danger and that her father should be proud of his parenting skills.

‘So cute. You’re doing a great job. She is so adorable, and that hair!’ one enthused.

‘Little Elle would get a rougher ride in her stroller or car for god’s sake,’ another added.

Meanwhile, Tim captioned his video with a tongue-in-cheek tribute to his new training buddy.

‘We did 50 chins, 50 dips… in 12 mins,’ he began.

‘Elle bet me I couldn’t do it so we chipped away 2 at a time with the clock counting down… I’m sure she was gaining weight as we trained,’ Tim joked.
