Tom Hanks reunites with Caleb Landry Jones at the LA premiere of their Apple TV+ film Finch
Two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks reunited with his castmate Caleb Landry Jones at the premiere of Apple Original Films’ Finch inside the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Tuesday.
In the post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama, Tom’s ailing engineer character invents Jeff the Robot (Caleb) to care for his beloved dog Goodyear after spending a decade in a St. Louis bunker.
Hanks’ Finch and Jones’ android embark on a road trip in an RV with Goodyear to San Francisco, which is perilous after a cataclysmic solar event left Earth a wasteland.

And while the 31-year-old Texan only voiced Jeff in the Finch movie trailer, he clearly got quite close to the 65-year-old NoCal native during production.
Caleb is best known for acting in Rod Lurie’s 2020 war film The Outpost, Martin McDonagh’s 2017 drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and Jordan Peele’s 2017 horror masterpiece Get Out.
Jones is also an accomplished psychedelic musician and painter, who just dropped his second album Gadzooks Vol. 1 on September 24.
The Cannes Best Actor winner – sporting a camo NASCAR #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. snapback – showcased his eccentric style in a grey face-print suit over a black shirt and shoes.
