A sobbing six year-old told cops about the moment she saw her dad shoot his TikTok star girlfriend dead after the victim slashed her father with a knife, it is claimed.
‘Ms. Trish had a big knife and told my daddy she was going to stab him and he shot her,’ the girl told police as she was ‘crying hysterically’, according to a report.
She was referring to the shooting of Patricia Grooms in Walterboro, South Carolina earlier this month.
Grooms, 32, who regularly shared family videos on TikTok, was allegedly shot multiple times by Billy Mclean Head III, 38, and her body was found inside a truck on November 12.
Head’s recollection of the incident to investigators mirrored his daughters, according to a police report obtained by The Sun, although he has still been charged with murder.
He told responding officers: ‘She attacked me, and I had to shoot her. She’s dead in the truck.’ He was found with a foot-long knife-wound along his arm, which did not require urgent medical treatment.
Head was also arrested for unlawful neglect of a child. He is currently being held in Colleton County Detention Center and has been denied bail.

According to the incident report, Grooms and Head had been dating for only a few weeks at the time of her death. They had been heading home from a Mexican restaurant in South Carolina when the alleged attack took place.
One responding officer reported that Grooms’ hair was covering her face and bloodied.
‘I observed what appeared to be a gunshot wound in the upper art of her left arm,’ the officer wrote in the report.
Another officer noted he saw a ‘dime sized wound’ in her outer left arm and bicep area that was ‘indicative of a gunshot’.
‘I noticed a bloody spot on the left side of the head,’ the officer wrote in the report.
‘Though it was slightly covered by hair, it looked to be a head wound. Giving an overall assessment around Patricia, there was a lot of blood around her hands. I also noticed a green-handled fixed blade knife at the feet of the subject.’
Police said Head had suffered a ‘superficial cut on his right forearm’ that he claimed Grooms caused.
The report indicates the wound was approximately a foot in length and wasn’t actively bleeding upon assessment from by officers.
It remains unclear what caused the alleged violence between the couple.

Grooms shared a number of cryptic messages in the days leading up to her death.
In her final Facebook post, shared hours before her alleged killing, she posted about mental health issues.
She shared a post which read: ‘S/o (shout out) to suicidal people who stay alive strictly for the sake of others.
‘I see you. You are important. You are loved. Thank you for being here despite your own feelings,’ the post continues on to say.
‘I hope one day you want to be here just as much as everyone else wants you to.’
She also uploaded a TikTok video addressed to ‘all the people who don’t like me’.
Her friends and family have taken to social media to pay tribute to the mom-of-two.
‘I have wrote and deleted this post a hundred times. She was my first love. We were together 7 years. She gave me my first son, she was my first love,’ Paul Souder wrote of Grooms.
‘He’s is and incredible kid because of how good of a mother she was…She was a good person she didn’t deserve this. He deserves no mercy .. at all. I hope the justice system gets it right.’

‘I miss you girl. It’s so hard to comprehend. I wish I could turn back the clock, I wish there was a way to stop this from ever happening. I will stand for you and fight for justice,’ said Rebby Hunter.
One of her coworkers told The Sun that Grooms had overcome several battles and always spoke her mind.
‘In meeting her, you would quickly find out that she spoke her mind with no filter,’ she said.
‘Tricia had a smile that could light up your entire day. Hilarious even when she didn’t try to be, and she had one of the best hearts in this cruel world,’ her friend/coworker said. ‘She wasn’t perfect, but worked everyday to be a better mother, and would let nothing stop her from doing that.
‘She accomplished sobriety, conquered abusive relationships and was one of the most dependable workers we had the pleasure of working beside. She impacted every life she touched.’
The friend added that Grooms ‘be sorely missed.’
