The announcements came around the same time Channel Nine revealed their programming lineup for 2022.

The network confirmed that Married At First Sight will also be making a return to Australian television screens next year.

With restrictions only just having been eased in New South Wales amid the Covid pandemic, it was feared that the reality TV show was going to be axed.

The new season will see the return of Puerto Rican sexologist Alessandra Rampolla, and veteran experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling.

Also scheduled for Nine’s lineup next year is The Block, Love Island Australia, Snackmasters, Lego Masters, The Hundred with Andy Lee, Magda Szubanski’s The Weakest Link and Australian Ninja Warrior.
