Vanessa Hudgens takes to the stage in SIX outfits to host the 2020 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Vanessa Hudgens put her lively personality to use on Sunday night as she hosted the first-ever MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest Of All Time special.

And the actress, 31, made her hosting gig a memorable one by rocking six awe-inspiring outfits, including one inspired by a scene from the 1976 horror flick Carrie.

Before kicking off the 90-minute show, Hudgens debuted her very first look on the socially-distanced red carpet.

Rocking a glowing full-body tan, the Princess Switch star made jaws drop as she strutted her stuff in a black strapless mini dress.

Complete with a thin, waist cinching belt, Vanessa’s get-up more than did her fit physique justice.

Her wrists and fingers were decked out with a variety of gold bangles and rings that coordinated with the Versace-inspired choker around her neck.

Hudgens’ raven toned tresses were parted down the middle and flowed down to her shoulders in meticulously straightened strands.

The High School musical alum completed her red carpet ensemble by slipping her freshly pedicured feet into a pair of open-toed pumps that fastened around the ankles.

Once the rest of the night’s attendees indulged in their own red carpet moments, they eagerly filed inside the 2020 MTV Movie & TV Awards venue in Los Angeles.

Poking fun at the GOAT acronym, Vanessa utilized her fit physique and partook in a moment of Goat Yoga.

For the hilarious bit, she threw on a flattering orange crop top and trousers set that proved to be a perfect contrast to her bright pink yoga mat.

Adding an extra level of elegance, Vanessa slipped on some arm-length gloves in the same stunning shade.

In order to appropriately segue into the portion of the show awarding Jamie Lee Curtis with her well-deserved Scream Queen award, Hudgens channeled her inner horror nerd.

Back in black: Embodying 'Back In Black,' Vanessa also strutted along the stage and uttered her deadpan jokes in a striking black gown that veered on the sexy side

Standing on stage in an all too familiar ivory toned slip dress, the actress was abruptly doused with a generous bucket of fake blood, reminiscent of the prom scene in Carrie, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name.

The unique dress featured a sequin-covered bodice that included side cut-outs, which proved to be an interesting antithesis to the dress’ voluminous lower half.

For the final award of the night, Cobra Kai’s William Zabka, who plays Johnny Lawrence, was presented with the Zero to Hero gong.

And to pay homage to the Karate Kid franchise, Vanessa rocked a bright red bomber jacket and an overall 1980s inspired get-up.

She also took a moment to show off her own mixed martial arts moves, which – even she would admit – need some improvement.

Prior to taking to the stage of Sunday night, Vanessa opened up about her hosting gig and expressed her excitement over what the first-ever show had in store.

‘I’m really excited about a lot of things for the show this year,’ she gushed to People.

‘First off, it’s the first-ever GOAT awards, which is really fun. I love hosting, so to be able to do it during 2020 is a nice mix-up.’

Vanessa admitted that ‘hosting a show during this time is, you know, a little weird.’

‘A lot more COVID testing, but it’s really great to be able to come here and celebrate and to be able to uplift people during these times,’ she explained.
